Our Ministry
Chris Haas is our Founder. He came to faith in his senior year at the University of Arkansas and graduated with a Finance Degree. After spending a summer at a summer training program with Student Mobilization, he joined the Stu Mo staff team and ministered to college students for ten years. He then began to position himself as a local church pastor and graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary. Upon graduation, he sensed the Lord leading him to dust off his finance degree and begin to help families with personal finances. Little did he know that God had been preparing him to start a ministry that would be a blend of his heart for families, finances, discipleship, and evangelism.
In 2010, Chris sensed God’s leading to create a new ministry to focus on the financial health of God’s people. Since then, we have coached and educated thousands of families. Freedom 5:one Ministries is a life-changing financial education and coaching Ministry! Inspiration comes from God’s heart to set His people free, as expressed in Galatians 5:1. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience financial freedom. So, we created the Freedom5one Institute to train Certified Stewardship Coaches worldwide.
Thanks to the generous support of our financial partners, our class fees are kept affordable, and we never have to worry about turning someone away who wants the training.

Freedom 5:one Institute is a training and educational program of Freedom 5:one Ministries. Freedom 5:one Institute exists for one simple reason: to pass on what we’ve learned.
Since 2010, Freedom 5:one Ministries has walked alongside individuals, families, churches, and leaders—coaching, teaching, listening, and learning in real life. The Institute was created as a natural extension of that journey. It is a place to gather the wisdom, frameworks, and lessons formed over years of hands-on financial stewardship coaching and make them accessible to others who want to serve well.
Freedom 5:one Institute is not a college or university, and we do not offer academic degrees. We are not affiliated with or accredited by any higher education associations. That’s intentional. Our training is not built in classrooms alone—it’s built in conversations, kitchens, church offices, and coaching sessions where real people wrestle with real financial decisions.
What we offer is practitioner-based training—education shaped by experience. Everything taught through the Institute has been tested in the field, refined over time, and grounded in biblical stewardship principles. Our authority does not come from accreditation plaques on a wall, but from years of coaching, teaching, and walking with people through both struggle and growth.
